INTERVIEW SERIES

Behind the Screens.

Tips from PresentVoices’ Founder Leah Bonvissuto

How do you remain confident and focused while speaking in a virtual setting? This million-dollar question is what we asked on this week’s Behind the Screens interview.

Communication Coach and Founder of PresentVoices, Leah Bonvissuto gives us some helpful tools to make you feel more confident while speaking on video. Some of these tips and tricks include:

    • Avoid leaning in – instead, lean back and take up more space to improve your confidence
    • Eliminate distractions
    • Pull your vocal volume back to 75% and let people come to you
    • Decrease your rate of speech and take intentional pauses to regroup your thoughts
