It’s October, and we have another employee spotlight! Meet Stephanie Siemens, Senior Digital Marketing Associate! Going on two years at Iron Horse, Stephanie has made a big impact spearheading campaigns, managing partnerships, and showing keen leadership. See why our team, clients, and partners can’t get enough of her!

What 3 words would you use to describe Iron Horse?

Innovative, supportive, fast-paced.

What’s your favorite part about working at Iron Horse?

The people! I’m not sure I’ve met a more genuine bunch before. Everyone is so kind and always willing to lend a helping hand, even when they’ve got a million other things going on. I also love the flexibility of our team and our ability to work together to change direction and figure things out on the fly. It makes work fun and always interesting.

What do you bring into every client relationship?

I try to bring empathy into every client relationship and listen more than I speak. We are all humans and I think sometimes when we get caught up in our work we forget that. When we work with clients we become part of the team and end up establishing really close relationships which is really awesome.

What’s your favorite new marketing trend?

I’m into two things right now:

    1. Hybrid events. Everyone is trying to blend in-person and the virtual events and make the experience top notch for both audiences. Definitely easier said than done.
    2. Aligning sales and marketing for growth. Not really a new trend per se, but I’m loving the emphasis and attention this is getting lately. People are realizing that their organizations cannot grow and succeed without these two groups being in sync.

Who is the most influential person to you?

This is a hard one… I am so lucky to have a tribe of amazing people around me. Different members of my family influence me in different ways. My grandpa influences me the most professionally by encouraging my growth, my grandma the most personally by showing what it means to be kind, and my mom the most overall. Honorable mention goes to my siblings.

What causes do you care about?

Animals (I just adopted a rescue pup!), education (I come from a family of public school teachers), and the Black Lives Matter movement to name a few!

What book do you last read?

Confess by Colleen Hoover (I’m a big fan of her books). I’m also reading the A Court of Thorn and Roses series by Sarah A. Maas!

If you had to eat one meal, every day for the rest of your life, what would it be?

I am a HUGE pasta fan. My grandma is Italian and makes the best homemade red sauce on the planet.

Most important question – does pineapple belong on pizza?

1000% yes. I almost can’t eat pizza if it doesn’t have pineapple on it. And don’t you dare forget the ranch!
