Inside Iron Horse is our employee spotlight blog series that takes a look at the people that keep this agency and our clients moving and growing. Join us in celebrating these remarkable people as we dive into their passions, talents, and motivations.

This month, we’re thrilled to spotlight one of our Growth Marketing Associates, Zeb Kahn! Zeb’s passion, collaborative spirit and innovative nature gets everyone excited about all things digital marketing. Aside from being a smarty pants (he’s got a Master’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing from the University of Redlands), Zeb is a snazzy dresser and likes to stay up-to-date with the latest fashion trends. When he’s not dreaming up the next best marketing strategy, Zeb likes to cool his brain by lifting weights or playing basketball.

What 3 words would you use to describe Iron Horse?

Collaborative, Innovative, and Passionate

What’s your favorite part about working at Iron Horse?

My favorite parts about working at Iron Horse would have to be the people and the remote aspect. I enjoy interacting with the coworkers/cross-functional teams I work with. I am also an active contributor to some #we-love slack channels like basketball, cars, and gaming. I also enjoy the flexibility to be able to work from anywhere that has a wifi connection. As a coffee shop nomad, I am able to get work done efficiently without logistical issues. One day I will have to work off a beach with a hotspot.

What do you bring into every client relationship?

I bring my personability (or personableness) to every client relationship. Being able to connect quickly and build strong rapport with clients goes a long way.

What’s your favorite new marketing trend?

My favorite new marketing trend, one that has been especially rampant over the past few years, would have to be influencer marketing. I like seeing the different techniques brands use once partnered with an influencer and how much engagement they bring.

Who is the most influential person to you?

I would have to say my dad. He came to the United States as an immigrant and really instilled the hard work mentality in me.

What causes do you care about?

I care about climate change and the environment. I’ve made a conscious effort to reduce my carbon footprint anywhere I can.

What book do you last read? What shows are you watching?

The last book I read was Rich Dad Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki and Sharon Lechter. It provided some neat financial insight and perspective.

If you had to eat one meal, every day for the rest of your life, what would it be?

This is controversial but I will have to say Taco Bell. So much variety to keep me satisfied and content every day for the rest of my life.

Most important question – does pineapple belong on pizza?

No it does not. I don’t even eat pineapple normally, it’s an acquired taste.
