Iron Horse earns competitive Corporate Event Award from EXHIBITOR Magazine.
EXHIBITOR Magazine has included Iron Horse in its annual Corporate Event Awards for our work with Teladoc Health on the 2020 Telehealth Innovation Forum. EXHIBITOR Magazine awards one Judge’s Choice Award winner, three Corporate Event Award winners, and three honorable mentions. The Forum, a large-scale virtual event promoting Teladoc Health as a leader in the field of virtual healthcare, was recognized for its strategy, tactics, and results.
Bringing Innovation to Healthcare
For more than 13 years, the Telehealth Innovation Forum has served as a thought leadership conference for healthcare professionals at the forefront of virtual care. Hosted by Teladoc Health (formerly InTouch Health), a provider of virtual healthcare services that enable patients to remotely connect with physicians and wellness professionals, the event has historically provided a combination of educational sessions, panels, product showcases from third-party sponsors, and networking and recreational events in and around a beachside resort. In 2020, Iron Horse helped Teladoc Health pivot to a completely virtual event, which was able to far exceed previous registration and attendance numbers.
Working closely with Teladoc Health, we created exciting virtual educational sessions and networking opportunities that mirrored the quality of those at the annual in-person event. Together, we tactically managed this by producing pre-recorded sessions using standardized recording equipment mailed to each speaker and by hiring an audiovisual company to edit the footage. Focusing our attention on increasing engagement and networking opportunities, we activated session and event-level chat functions to facilitate learning and connection amongst attendees. This event also incorporated live social, wellness, and charitable activities.
Award-Winning Virtual Event Results
The 2020 Telehealth Innovation Forum exceeded its registration goal by more than 200 percent and the event earned a score of “above average” or “excellent” from 92 percent of post-event survey respondents. This award means a lot to us because partnering with Teladoc Health has been an exciting, innovative, and fulfilling journey, and we can’t wait for the next event!
