It’s been less than a year, but Mariska has become an amazing and important person on the Iron Horse team. What 3 words would you use to describe Iron Horse?

Tight-knit, Growing, Collaborative

What’s your favorite part about working at Iron Horse?

My favorite part of working at Iron Horse is that I get to work from home. I like the flexibility, and I have a very nice set up at home. I live in Portland, and since one of our offices is in this area, I can also go there if I want to.

What do you bring into every client relationship?

A “we” mindset. I approach every client project knowing that we’re in it together no matter what.

What’s your favorite new marketing trend?

Marketing Automation.

Who is the most influential person to you?

My dad. He has always been a “fake it till you make it” and “do what feels right” kind of person. That has always worked for me too. I go in with a lot of confidence and put myself out there until things stick.

What causes do you care about?

I care about LGBT causes. Specifically right now there is a lot going on with the trans community and they need a little extra support.

What show did you last watch?

The last thing that I watched was Star Trek Next Generation.

If you had to eat one meal, every day for the rest of your life, what would it be?

Curry. There are so many different types of curry.

Most important question – does pineapple belong on pizza?

I don’t personally like it but I understand why people do.
